PYP Evaluation Visit Celebrates Learning & Community

A successful PYP Evaluation Visit for our accreditation, this is a great milestone that shows our dedication to providing excellent international education to the Bangkok and Nonthaburi community.

MYIS has successfully completed its third IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) Evaluation Visit, an important five-year review of the school’s PYP implementation and learning culture.

The visit concluded with very positive feedback from the visiting team such as:

  • The strong, caring relationships between students and teachers
  • A community where students are truly known and supported as individuals
  • Confident, engaged students who can talk meaningfully about their learning
  • Teachers who are deeply committed to reflection, collaboration, and continued growth
  • A genuine sense of belonging, care, and community across the school
  • A PYP that is not simply documented, but visible and alive in our classrooms and everyday learning

The team also recognized the dedication of MYIS teachers to reflection, collaboration, and continuous professional growth, noting that the PYP is not simply documented at MYIS, but is visible and actively lived out in classrooms and throughout the school community.

The official evaluation report is expected in approximately six weeks. In the meantime, MYIS is celebrating the work of its students, teachers, parents, staff, and leadership team.

The school extends its sincere thanks to IB visitors Elaine and Shobna for their time and thoughtful engagement, and especially to Ms. Beth, PYP Coordinator, whose leadership and preparation were instrumental in the successful visit. Check out more about MYIS’s Primary Years Program here.

A proud milestone for the entire MYIS community.
