FAQ

MYIS uses a rolling admissions policy, meaning we accept students throughout the school year; however, spaces are limited and admissions are granted based on availability.

MYIS aims to provide applicants and their families with a timely answer once all of the required documents are provided to the admissions department. 

All students applying to MYIS must either complete an in-house assessment or provide previous school report cards which are not more than one academic year old. Students' English level will be assessed within the first two weeks of enrollment to determine if EAL is needed.

• Early Years students in Trust & Caring - Joy & Confidence attend school 8:30 - 12:30 with either 3 or 5 days a week options.
• Early Years students in Creativity & Service or Excellence attend 8:15 - 14:00, Monday - Friday.
• Primary and Secondary students attend school 8:00 - 15:00, Monday - Friday.

Lunch and snack fees are a part of the additional school fees. Our school cafeteria team prepares these and publishes menus weekly that are available to parents via our weekly newsletter and on our website. 

Uniforms are optional for Early Years to Primary and required for Secondary students. These can be purchased at the Reception Office on campus. 

In 2025-26, we had 35 nationalities out of 250 students with 45% local Thai families. 

As an IB World School, our teachers hail from all over the world. We have 17 different nationalities among teachers with the top nationality being American.

Teachers must be certified or licensed to teach by their home countries. We recruit teaching staff through Schrole and Search Associates.
