IB + American Common Core

Through the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), students explore meaningful Units of Inquiry while mastering American Common Core standards. Guided by IB framework for learning and our student-centered approach encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and meaningful connections that prepare students for continued success in Middle Years and beyond. In addition to core academic subjects, students participate in specialist classes that provide a well-rounded education.

DIFFERENTIATED INSTRUCTION

At MYIS, we recognize that every child learns differently. Our teachers use differentiated instruction to meet the individual needs of each learner, providing the right balance of challenge and support. Through inquiry, collaboration, and hands-on learning experiences, students are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a supportive classroom environment.

Through the IB Primary Years Programme, students learn by asking questions, investigating ideas, and making meaningful connections across subjects. Units of Inquiry encourage students to explore real-world concepts such as identity, relationships, history, innovation, and global responsibility, helping them become engaged, reflective, and internationally minded learners.
