Our Story
For more than three decades, MYIS has provided a nurturing international education grounded in strong relationships, personalized learning, and a commitment to student success. From our beginnings as "Magic Years" in 1990 to the vibrant IB World School we are today, our focus has remained the same: ensuring every student is known, supported, and inspired to achieve their best.

MYIS started as “Magic Years” in the house of the director & founder, Khanum Thampi, in Sukhumvit Soi 42 with just four students.

MYIS continues to grow, opening a second branch in Chaengwattana Soi 28.

MYIS moved to a new facility in Muang Thong Thani in April 2006 to accommodate growth.

Construction for a new campus was completed and opened in 2017 located next to Nichada Thani.

Our Future
After building a strong foundation in Early Years and Primary education, MYIS began expanding beyond Grade 5 in 2020. Since then, we have added new grade levels each year, growing alongside our students and families. In this journey, we have built an expansion and proudly offer up to Grade 11 with Grade 12 launching in 2027 in our journey to becoming a full K–12 international school.
